Returns & Claims

General Information

We hope you will love everything you have ordered from us, but if something isn’t quite right, we have a 14 day returns policy* from the day you receive your order. This applies to full priced and sale items.

*For Christmas we have an extended time limit from December 1st to January 31st.

Accepted Return

The item needs to be returned in an unaltered condition for you as a customer to receive a full refund. Therefore, make sure that the label and packaging are still intact. If you are unsure whether your return will be approved – email customer@garboandfriends.com before making your return.

Refund

Refunds are made to the same account you used at the time of purchase; it can take up to 10 working days for the refund to reach you.

Exchanges

We do not do exchanges. If you have bought the wrong item and want a new product, variant or size, please return the wrong item and place a new order for the correct item.

Denied returns

We reserve the right to refuse your return if the returned product is judged to be in unsaleable condition such as:

  • The product is stained/damaged in a way that must have resulted from use.
  • The product is returned with poor packaging so the product has been damaged in the return carriage.
  • The product is washed.
  • The product smells – due to, for example, perfume/pet/smoke.

 

Swedish Customers

For our Swedish customers, contact us at customer@garboandfriends.com to receive a pre-paid shipping label for eventual returns, we will deduct 49 SEK from your refund to cover for this shipping.

How to return your order in 4 easy steps – via Budbee (only for orders sent with Budbee)

  1. Go to the Budbee app and go to the order you want to return.
  2. Click “Book return” and choose whether the parcel should be picked up at your door or via Budbee Box.
  3. Pack the item well, you are responsible for ensuring that the parcel holds the freight.
  4. Choose if you want to return at the door or via box.

 

International Customers

Garbo&Friends does not cover for potential custom fees and only accepts international (outside of the EU) returns sent with DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). Returns sent without custom fees paid will have these deducted from the refund, if this covers the whole amount of the refund there will be no refund issued.

When paying the duty fees, you will have to declare the value of the items. In this case you must declare the correct value of the item(s), declaring the value as 0 only causes problems for us when processing the return and may delay your refund.

Return form

A return form is included in your parcel, in which you can specify your reason of return. If you no longer have this form, simply print out and fill in all required information in a new form here

Returning your purchase

  1. Fill out the return form and include this in the package.
  2. If you can, re-use the original packaging, tape the parcel securely and for Swedish customers include the pre-paid Postnord/Schenker label included in your parcel. European and International clients are recommended to use a traceable shipping option.
  3. Drop the parcel off at a drop-off point of your choice. Responsibility for the return is yours until the parcel reaches us, so please remember to ask for a proof of the postage.
  4. You can expect to receive a refund within 14 days of sending the parcel back to us. Once we have processed the return you will receive a return confirmation email.

Hygiene articles

Hygiene articles such as face masks and pacifiers cannot be returned due to safety hazards. Any plastic packaging on the product is not a seal and is thus not sufficient proof that the product is unopened.

Returned hygiene items will be destroyed and not refunded or sent back.

Claim

If you have received a defective product, you have the right to claim this within a reasonable time, which is within 2 months of receipt.

In some cases, we may need to return the defective product and you as a customer are then responsible for packing the product so that it is not damaged during transport back. We are responsible for the return cost.
